Limiting Beliefs and Stepping Up
I want to talk about the past few months. I have really been called to step up, no stone left unturned, and the flow of the universe has met and supported me completely.
I attended a Wharetangata Ora – Womb Massage Workshop here in Perth. Facilitated by the amazing Raukura Sayer, who travelled from New Zealand to demonstrate and facilitate this incredible sacred Maori / Lemurian modality.
From the moment this circled my consciousness, I knew it would be powerful and I knew I needed to be there. Due to timing and finances I didn’t know how I would get there, but I trusted that it would manifest if divinely intended. I had some very interesting experiences leading up to the workshop dates, and as I had hoped it all fell into place.
Experiencing and learning this powerful process was incredible. I had visions of doing this work from many, many lifetimes. Not only that, all of my training and healing over this lifetime seems to have all led me here, back to this work, my calling, my power.
Since then, I have offered some 15+ Womb Massages, each one has been transformational not only for my clients, but also for myself. A process, a journey and deep remembering of who we are, calling those parts back into ourselves. Becoming whole again.
One thing for sure is that it is completed, there is no going back and you are changed on all levels, including at a cellular and ancestral level. Clearing the path for those before you, and those yet to come.
I have been guided some four moons later, that my personal womb healing is complete. I now have complete access to the women through all stands of my DNA and ancestry, by simply calling their wisdom and their experiences into my womb space.
I have also begun working with one ancestor in particular on a deck of oracle cards. I am told these will be completed and for sale later in the year, so it seems I am going to be very busy!
In November, still hungry for learning, I enrolled in Emma Romano’s Family Freedom Protocol training. Holy shit!
Again, I knew this work would be powerful. I had come across one of Emma’s Facebook Live videos purely by chance and felt an instant connection to her and her passion for helping others thrive.
This modality adds another dimension to the mental/emotional/spiritual work that I have been offering for many years. It focuses on releasing emotional trauma, conditioned habits and limiting beliefs held deep in the subconscious, as well as energy healing and cleansing. And its benefits are INSTANT.
Emma’s teaching format requires that you go through the 15 step program, tod own your shit before taking anyone else through the process. Let me tell you, it gets in there. Into the murky corners of your psyche that love to blame and hold on to victim mentality. It is confronting and you have to be prepared to own your shit and step up into taking responsibility and action!
The limiting belief session was particularly powerful for me. It brought up the long held belief that I am a struggling single mother and that life is always going to be a little bit hard, and I am never going to be able to provide for my family. After going through this process and acknowledging where I have been in effect of this belief, and releasing it for good I had 3 new client enquiries, 7 client bookings and several online book orders within half an hour. Yes! Within 30 minutes, I was already seeing an incredible flow of energy and abundance!
I have been seeing regular clients using this fantastic modality to work on the mental/emotional/spiritual layers, and soon will be offering workshops and group sessions too.
That same night, after a year or more of visualising myself pulled into public speaking, I put out the call to the universe. If I am ready to use my voice for the collective evolution of consciousness, then I require an opportunity to reach more people. The next morning I received an email inviting me to join the long running News For The Soul radio broadcast!
As of 29th January, I will be broadcasting Together We Rise once a month at News for the Soul. The intention is to be a channel and conduit for reconnecting, remembering and reclaiming our power and divinity as we rise together in collective consciousness. I am so excited for this experience to kick off and witness its unfolding. I hope you will join me along the way by tuning in with your own questions and experiences.
These three examples that were woven into the final months of 2018 are an example of how the flow of energy works within our universe. When you are truly aligned to your calling and being of service. I have no idea where any of this will lead me, but I do have faith that it will guide me to wherever I need to be in order to honour my truth and purpose.
Being in alignment doesn’t mean that everything is suddenly perfect (what is that anyway?) I continue to be met with unforeseen challenges, stress and anxiety. What has changed is my ability to cope with it all. To know when to pull back, and when to charge full speed ahead.
Honouring the heartbeat of my life, the ups and the downs. Trusting that all is exactly as it needs to be, in order to experience and navigate my way through the lessons.
I am eternally grateful for your kindness, support and love over the weeks, months or years and I am here to walk this journey not for you, but with you…Together We Rise!
How To Fine Tune Your Intuition
Simple daily ideas and tips for developing your intuition.
Today I'd like to share some tips on how to fine tune your intuition.
Just like when learning any new skills, the key to developing and harnessing the potential of your intuition and psychic ability is discipline and practice.
Create a sacred space
A sacred space can be a comfortable spot in your home or a quiet spot in nature. My sacred space typically hosts crystals, cards, candles, runes, incense, orgham sticks, fairies, a singing bowl, sage and abalone shell, red cockatoo feathers, a skull and menstrual blood. It changes weekly to suit rituals or intentions that are present.
A sacred space for you could also be a gathering with a community, such as a psychic development circle, on a regular basis. Only commit within your means, so that you are more likely to continue with the practice. Once the discipline integrates into your lifestyle, you can add in another element and gently build your focus to a level that feels right for you.
Meditate
Start with ten minutes of meditation each day, and then build to thirty minutes over time. Meditation practice helps you to hear your inner voice and strengthens your connection to your higher self and spirit. Just a few minutes a day can bring a sense of calm, focus and grounding to your day.
In my meditation practice, I always use 'white lighting' technique to help quiet my mind. I imagine either a star above my head that showers me and everything in white light, or I imagine the points of light expanding from my heart and then around my whole body until I am just made of light. This then expands out and into the rest of the world.
Next, I imagine roots from my feet anchoring me into the earth and thank the mother and the fairies for their wisdom, and imagine my crown opening and connecting up into the cosmos, thanking starbeings, guides and other spirit for their wisdom.
Lastly I focus all energy on expanding my heart and the journey unravels as required. Messages, images, symbols and spirit will come through.
Expand
Once you feel ready to add other elements to your lifestyle, consider some other activities to help fine tune your intuition and meet like-minded people to share in your journey. It could be a yoga class once a week, or a monthly spiritual development workshop.
When I was 13 years old I became hypersensitive to the unseen realm. I spent nights wide awake, talking with spirit presences or experiencing precognitive dreams about events days before they happened. My energy was so concentrated at times that lights would flicker and electronic devices would falter in my presence. I felt out of control and did not know how to deal with the world around me. Fortunately, my parents were incredibly open-minded and
understanding. They were referred to a psychic medium through a local spiritualist church for me to talk with. This woman would become an incredibly important influence in my life. She provided understanding and mindful tools to ground and protect myself, and to switch off when I needed to. I kept in contact with her for many years, and shortly after graduating high school, I began sitting in her psychic development circle.
The key is to find what is driving your passion and development and work with it, so that it can unfold organically, as opposed to being projected and forced into a completely new way of being. This will create resistance presenting as self-sabotage or victim archetype, and may cause more harm than good.
Be aware that as you embark on the journey to understanding yourself on a deep level and tuning in to subtle vibrations, that you may find yourself becoming increasingly sensitive to the world around you. This is because any dis-ease (physical disease, but also emotional traumas) is being reflected back to you for acknowledgement and healing, to clear your pathway to truth.
I'd love to hear where you are at in your journey, if you have any questions, or if you'd like me to expand on any of these tips. Please leave a comment below.
With Love,
Laura
How Do Integrate My Higher Self Without Being A Weirdo?
Taking the leap of faith to live in your own truth, and follow your own path can feel extremely vulnerable. Is there a way of doing it gently?
How do I begin to integrate my higher self into this life without looking like a weirdo?
Good question.
You can’t! Once you dive into the great waters of self development and spiritual exploration, others will begin questioning your sanity, as much as you have begun to question your own.
In the process of becoming who you have always been, you will appear different to others, you will lose friends and old habits. Mindsets and possessions that you no longer need will start to crumble away. It is the great unraveling, stripping you back to that beautiful sparkle at the very nature of your being. It is no thing to fear, it just is. It is terrifying and exciting and most definitely addictive once you dip your toe into the water and begin to understand the delicate blueprint of your hearts truth.
But, just as everything in nature is balanced, so too is your awakening! For every challenge you encounter (which of course is just an opportunity for growth and healing) you will be offered new friendships, soul connections and opportunities to harness your highest potential in abundance and skills to love and accept yourself in wholeness.
You will feel compelled to share your excitement and enthusiasm with others, and you will be mocked. You will want to tell everyone how much you love them and how fucking incredibly grateful you are to have them in your life, and they may take a step back because you are too much.
You will begin to feel more connected to everything around you than ever before, and yet more alone than you have felt in your life.
Your ego will be tested again and again, until you understand that this flesh pocket we inhabit in this earthly life, is nothing but a vessel, a navigation tool to unlock the experiences necessary for the growth and evolution we hope to accomplish on this journey.
Once seen, you can no longer unsee. Trust me though, it is all worth it. You are no longer trying, you just are! And you are such a fucking ray of sunshine and hope on our little green and blue planet. You are the one you’ve been waiting for. Shine your sparkle and love hard!
Spiritual But Funny As F**k
Following a spiritual path doesn't have to be serious all of the time. Find out how humour serves as a way to seed joy in every day, when maintaining healing and spiritual process.
One thing I have learned through the years of peeling back the layers, in all the dark corners of my psyche, there is a common medicine that helps to overcome it all, make way for truth and shine more light.
Good old fashioned laughter! Literally, I start feeling depressed if I don't get a healthy daily dose of the funnies. Sarcasm…check! Toilet humour…check! Sexual innuendos (in your end-o)…Puns…Dad Jokes…check check check! If there is a joke (especially if it comes with shock factor) you can guarantee I am there, front row and centre.
It is my belief that humour is such an integral tool in my life and personal development for many reasons. Firstly, in my years of working through spiritual process, the way to change old habits is to feel into it, acknowledge the ‘who what and why’, and then release it for transmutation and healing. Releasing can be done in a number of ways including a big emotional release, or some mind exercises (eg imagine severing cords to the old relationship or habit that no longer serves you), assistance from alternative therapies such as flower essences, body work etc, or a combination of these.
Often after a release, our energy takes some time to shuffle around, recalibrate and integrate our new way of being. It can feel sometimes like there are little holes within our makeup, and the world can seem overwhelming or unfamiliar while the dust settles. Cementing new positive habits in those old worn out spaces with joy, will assist in create that new foundation for the path you are on, and the simplest way to achieve a state of joy, is through laughter.
As a typical Aquarian, most of the time without realizing, I can appear a bit aloof. My mind is always wandering off into the clouds. A dreamer and over-thinker on a global scale. The chatter rarely stops, and even if I am standing in one place, my mind is likely in several at once. Humour and laughter helps me to reintegrate into my body and be more grounded, in a gentle and fun way, and eases the heaviness of what it feels to be human, allowing moments for connection and inspiration to remain good and positive.
I am also curious about how we connect and interact as human beings. Lightheartedness and laughter is a simple way to make friends, or in some cases scare people off (They are not your people)!
I feel like sometimes when we dive into a spiritual journey or calling, we forget that we are still here to have a human experience and enjoy ourselves. I have known many who've been caught in a game of ‘who is more spiritual than who’, which becomes a freakish display of battling egos, full of judgement and façade as they compete for the most likes on social media. (It can also be hilarious!)
My advice would be, not to take yourself so seriously. Don’t try to be a Guru or expert, just be yourself. Those who resonate will find you, and you will be enough. You are always enough. The very fact that you can feel you heart beating through your chest, knowing you are alive, means that you matter, just as you are, without the needing to be anything different. We are all on our own journey and there is more than enough room for each to be their own unique piece of the puzzle.
And so with love and giggles, I invite you to fart on someone’s head and have a good laugh about it, until next time. xxx
